Why did you apply for the Master of Land and Water Systems?
I applied for the MLWS because as a professional program, I can take courses that will go towards my APEGBC application but also work on a project that focuses on a topic of my interest. On top of that, this program brings together individuals from several different professional backgrounds, unlike any other program, and based on previous experience I know that working on a broad problem through an interdisciplinary approach can provide amazing and insightful results.
What are you most excited about learning in the MLWS program?
I am really excited about meeting people from different professional backgrounds and learning about different topics through an interdisciplinary/international approach. I feel like there is so much to be gained by pooling our ideas!
What are some of your favourite hobbies?
Having lived in Vancouver most of my life, I divide my hobbies by season. When the weather is warm I love to get outdoors or discover the different neighbourhoods that make up Vancouver as a whole. When winter comes around you can find me baking/cooking up something delicious.
