Why did you apply for the Master of Land and Water Systems?
With a stronger passion for environmental sustainability, sustainable agriculture, and food security, my academic interests revolves around integrated land resources management, watershed science, soil science (management, restoration, remediation, and reclamation), environmental and agricultural sciences. My professional interests include but are not limited to agricultural production, agricultural consulting, environmental health monitoring, teaching, research and industry. My choice to study the Land and Water Systems program stem not only from the opportunity it will offer me to explore my passion, academic and professional interests but also from the conviction that it will equip me with the required skills, knowledge and competences, essentially placing me on a pedestal to achieve my academic and professional interests and aspirations.
What are you most excited about learning in the MLWS program?
I am excited about the transformative opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge and professional skills in land and water resources management to help me contribute to a sustainable future.
Besides, I am enthused about the chance to be mentored by esteemed faculty members to hone my research skills.
What are some of your favourite hobbies?
My hobbies include but not limited to gardening, hunting, nature watching, hiking, fishing, reading, and exercise.
