Why did you apply for the Master of Land and Water Systems?
My decision to pursue a master’s degree in Land and Water Systems comes from my passion of addressing critical environmental issues, such as water scarcity, land degradation, and climate change. During my undergraduate studies, I came to understand that land and water systems are fundamental for both natural resource conservation and human well-being. Therefore, this program can gives me a chance to gain more knowledge and skills which I can apply to the real-world problem solving . In addition, I found this program’s emphasis on practical applications and research aligns perfectly with my career goal of working in environmental consultancy, where I can contribute to effective resource management strategies.
What are you most excited about learning in the MLWS program?
I would like to gain some advanced insight of the modern conservation strategies in land and water system. Also, I’m curious about how Canada restores the degraded aquatic/riparian habitat in the climate change era .
What are some of your favourite hobbies?
In my spare time, I enjoy playing video games, particularly those from Nintendo. I also like to go swimming and play tennis. Recently, I’ve been interested in trying hiking and skiing.
