Why did you apply for the Master of Land and Water Systems?
After my bachelor’s degree in 2021, I have been actively involved in fish farming and recently completed an internship as a water quality intern. I fell in love with water management while working to solve water quality challenges in both fisheries and aquaculture. I want to be part of those contributing to the ever-increasing issues of water in the world especially in Africa. I believe the Master of Land and Water Systems will broaden my horizons by increasing my understanding of how to sustainably manage both land and water while preserving our aquatic ecosystems.
What are you most excited about learning in the MLWS program?
I am excited to learn about what happens to the water cycle, how land use impacts water quality, and how different water programs have addressed these issues.
What are some of your favourite hobbies?
I love listening to music and enjoy beautifying my space through DIY projects.
