Why did you apply for the Master of Land and Water Systems?

My ultimate aspiration is to establish a consulting firm dedicated to providing sustainable solutions for small and large-scale farmers, addressing critical challenges such as food insecurity, climate change, and environmental resource conservation. Getting a Master’s degree in Land and Water Systems will sharpen my strategic communication and organizational skills, which are important for my career goals. The program’s interdisciplinary approach will provide me with the expertise to scrutinize complex land and water systems issues, using scientific methods.

What are you most excited about learning in the MLWS program?

I am looking forward to making global connections and getting equipped with skills that can enable me to offer workable solutions to the problems faced in the agricultural and environmental sectors of my home country Nigeria, and the world at large.
