Why did you apply for the Master of Land and Water Systems?

During my undergraduate studies I became interested in water conservation and freshwater ecosystem preservation, which is becoming an increasingly important topic as the global climate crisis influences freshwater availability. The MLWS program will provide me with fundamental professional knowledge as well as interesting biological knowledge that will lead me towards this goal.

What are you most excited about learning in the MLWS program?

I am most excited to learn about the interactions between aquatic environments and the water resources sector. Using both scientific and professional knowledge, I hope to one day identify and mitigate ecological issues that impact the potable water supply.

What are some of your favourite hobbies?

I typically spend my time reading, hanging out with friends, exploring new places in the city, and stargazing! Once I finish the MLWS program, I plan to spend my time traveling and hopefully adopt a rescue cat to come on adventures with me.
