Why did you apply for the Master of Land and Water Systems?
I applied to the MLWS because the program provides students with science-based skills, training and knowledge in natural resources and environmental sciences, as well as effective communication alternatives. The MLWS program is designed to address emerging environmental issues of maintenance of ecological services, restoration of degraded lands, climate change adaptation and resource conservation, which aligns with my personal and career goals. My interests are in climate change, environmental and ecological restoration and the MLWS perfectly fits into this.
What are you most excited about learning in the MLWS program?
I am excited about developing my professional skills, improving my academic knowledge and broadening my horizon of land, environment and water resources. I believe this will position me to proffer workable and sustainable solutions to several challenges of land degradation, air pollution as well as food insecurity problems from an international perspective. I hope that the holistic system of thinking in the program will help me realize this.
What are some of your favourite hobbies?
I like to visit the beach – the breeze is bliss there. I also like watching football and hanging out with friends.
