Why did you apply for the Master of Land and Water Systems?
I have an engineering undergraduate degree and a project management graduate degree, but my longest work experience was in banking. I guess some people can figure out what career they want for their life at very young age and some do not. I took many years to find out what I want. Even though I haven’t decided on my specific interests, I’ll find out soon. With more studying, I will probably choose urban or agriculture.
What are you most excited about learning in the MLWS program?
For me, I am so glad that I can learn with not only with all those outstanding professors but also many excellent classmates. UBC looks quite different from the universities I have studied at before. And Vancouver is a great place to live.
What are some of your favourite hobbies?
Fun fact about me is that I always take my thermos with me. I love all different kinds of soup. I do love travelling, but eventually my home is my favourite place.
