Why did you apply for the Master of Land and Water Systems?

I decided to apply for the Master of Land and Water Systems owing to the fact my previous professional experience as an Aquaculture Engineer. Since then, I have been interested in how human activity impacts soil and water, besides from how to promote innovative solutions for a sustainable management of this field. I believe MLWS offers me the opportunity to learn more about these two essential resources holistically, as well as addressing and sharing effectively current and future issues.

What are you most excited about learning in the MLWS program?

I am particularly interested in land remediation and reclamation together with water recirculation systems. I look forward to develop professional communication skills. Moreover, connecting through UBC network and understanding the world environmental policies.

What are some of your favourite hobbies?

I enjoy going for brunch to new restaurants, dancing tropical rhythms such as salsa & bachata, exploring new outdoor activities and reading.
I love watching wildlife and spending time in souvenirs stores!!
