Why did you apply for the Master of Land and Water Systems?
Academically, my interests focus on areas such as water supply management and the conservation of land and energy resources. Towards the end of my undergraduate degree, I started to develop a strong interest in environmental sciences. I previously worked at a Acid-Rock Drainage company where I was inspired to further continue my education in the MLWS program. Hopefully, with the skills and the knowledge that I acquire during my time here in the MLWS program, I can use that in creating innovative, sustainable solutions for important issues such as climate change, water supply degradation, etc.
What are you most excited about learning in the MLWS program?
I am looking forward to using the opportunities that will be given to me in the MLWS program and making the most out of them. Not only do I want to learn about urban watershed management and landscape sustainability, I want to find an area where I can gain research experience and dwell deeper into the topic that I am most interested in.
What are some of your favourite hobbies?
I enjoy skiing, watching movies, playing ice hockey, going on trips with my family (traveling to Europe, camping, road trips, etc.) and going to the gym.
