Why did you apply for the Master of Land and Water Systems?

I am interested in environmental policy surrounding agricultural land preservation and how cultural views around agriculture will shift in the coming years with a changing climate. This program gave me the opportunity to explore the many issues I am interested in with a professional approach while learning how best to communicate to a wide audience. A wonderful complement to my environmental science background I am looking forward to deepening my knowledge about key issues and how to share this effectively.

What are you most excited about learning in the MLWS program?

I am most excited about learning about some of the specific land and water issues the world is facing today and the reality behind regulation. I am looking forward to taking a variety of classes and learning the different opinions of fellow students as we all come from diverse educational backgrounds.

What are some of your favourite hobbies?

My hobbies include hiking, running and making coffee. I love decorating and interior design, so I spend a lot of time browsing for ideas.
