Why did you apply for the Master of Land and Water Systems?
I chose to pursue the Master of Land and Water Systems at UBC to expand my expertise in sustainable resource management. Building on my foundation in Forest Resources Management, I aim to combine land and water management approaches to tackle critical environmental issues. Also, this program’s focus aligns with my career aspirations, and I aim to enhance my skills to become well-rounded in sustainable resource and watershed management practices.
What are you most excited about learning in the MLWS program?
I am excited about how to combine land and water management practices to tackle significant environmental challenges. Also, I am excited to develop practical skills through fieldwork and collaborate with professionals and fellow students who share my enthusiasm for sustainability. The chance to participate in practical projects, including the major project component, will enable me to translate theoretical knowledge into real-world solutions.
What are some of your favourite hobbies?
Some of my hobbies include riding motorcycles, gaming, and playing badminton. These activities help me unwind and stay active, providing a balance between my academic and personal life.
