Why did you apply for the master of land and water systems?

As I have been working in the Water Supply sector, primarily through water wells, I got interested in the program as I want to provide integrated solutions to my clients on better managing their Land and Water resources. During my career, I have seen a lot of stories of abandoned lands because the owner thinks that the available water they have is not enough to have a productive project. I am also amazed at how people can literally drive their land to desertification by inadequate management.

What are you most excited about learning in the MLWS programs?

Learning more about land and water preservation and restoration of degraded areas.

What are some of your favourite hobbies?

I enjoy almost any outdoor sport, like mountaineering, climbing, hiking, mountain biking, and trail running. However, the time I enjoy the most is the one I spend with my family exploring new places locally or all around the world.
