Why did you apply for the Master of Land and Water Systems?

With a background in Geology, I developed a great interest in water resources management while I worked with my professor to collect water analysis data. I decided to pursue a career in this field to understand how human and natural activities contribute to groundwater contamination and help proffer and promote innovative solutions for the sustainable management of water resources. This is what the MLWS program here at UBC is offering, an opportunity to hone my skills and acquire the requisite knowledge and training needed to excel as a professional Water Resources expert and so I applied.

What are you most excited about learning in the MLWS program?

I am excited to be studying in a different environment with students from all around the globe and learning and acquiring new skills relevant to my career progression as a researcher in future.

What are some of your favourite hobbies?

I love spending time with my family and I also love to watch movies and science documentaries.
