Why did you apply for the Master of Land and Water Systems?
Environmental issues such as land conversion, freshwater scarcity, food security, biodiversity loss, and climate change are currently causing widespread concern throughout the world. A key to dealing with these worldwide concerns is how to conserve and manage land and water resources, which are crucial to fulfilling human needs and progress. With my interest in sustainable resources management, I discovered the innovative Master of Land and Water Systems program provides me with opportunities to acquire science-based skills, training and knowledge in the area of land and water systems.
What are you most excited about learning in the MLWS program?
At present, efforts devoted to protecting freshwater ecosystems are far from enough, and a long-term durable protection mechanism is needed to secure threatened freshwater ecosystems and the social and biodiversity values they provide. This program will develop me with solid skills and knowledge to deal with various environmental issues. I believe my study in the Master of Land and Water System program will be an excellent opportunity for me to develop my professionalism in the field.
What are some of your favourite hobbies?
I always spend my free time chilling at home since I am an INFJ. However, I also like travelling and cooking.
