Scholarships, Awards + Funding

**NEW!** Master of Land and Water Systems (MLWS) Award

The MLWS program offers scholarships to incoming students through the Master of Land and Water Systems Award. The award is an entrance scholarship for outstanding candidates joining the MLWS program. The criteria for this award include academic merit, financial need and the recipient’s potential contribution to the MLWS program. Potential contribution includes bringing diversity and relevant professional experience to the program.

Examples of MLWS Award opportunities:

  • The MLWS program offers up to five (5) scholarships of $2000 to outstanding new students to the program, who can serve as models and provide leadership to their cohort.
  • International students who bring diversity from their country or ethnic group in the MLWS program.
  • In exceptional circumstances, awards are available for students who would otherwise be prevented from accepting an offer to the MLWS program due to financial hardship.

ALL new students who have sent in a reply form and deposit cheque to the Academic Coordinator will be considered for the MLWS Award, on a competitive basis. There is no need to submit a separate application for this award. Exclusion: This entrance scholarship is not intended for holders of other major awards.

The MLWS Award is paid out in the first tuition installment in September.

This new award was launched in the spring of 2019, and all students accepted for the academic year starting in September 2020 will be considered for the award. The award recipients were announced in the fall of 2020.
