Why did you apply for the Master of Land and Water Systems?
Land degradation and inadequate water supply are some of the major problems facing the world especially my community today, and these are just one more factor that convinced me that my choice of graduate studies in Land and Water systems at UBC is the right one and will further equip me to provide an holistic and sustainable solution in the future. I am particularly interested in soil and resources management and soil-water interactions.
What are you most excited about learning in the MLWS program?
I am most excited about the opportunity to exchange ideas with students of diverse cultural and educational background, and to gaining invaluable knowledge from being under the direct tutelage of world class professionals in Land and Water Systems at UBC.
What are some of your favourite hobbies?
I love listening to music and meeting people.
